Communities of Practice

“a group of people who share a passion for something they do and learn how to do it better as they interact regularly”

Sound like the coaches at your club? Or those that interact at a cluster session? We are acutely aware how powerful these organic groups are for developing coaching practice and encourage you to form and utilise these communities of practice whereaver possible. That book or podcast recommendation, bit of feedback from a trusted collegue or supportive shoulder to lean on when coaching is getting tough. They can all be pivotal in our journey as a coach. As well as the organic groups that you will naturally be a part of Scottish Cycling would encourage you to engage and share with cycling coaches across the country.

To facilitate that we have set up a Scottish Cycling Coaches Spond group with various discipline and demographic specific sub-groups.
