Vive Le Tour – 2026 Scottish Cycling Conference Programme unveiled

The 2026 edition of the Scottish Cycling Conference takes place at the newly refurbished Dunblane Hydro on Saturday 21st November, focusing on a theme of ‘Vive Le Tour!’

This year we’ll place a large focus on the Tour de France coming to Scotland, and the plethora of opportunities it brings, from engaging new audiences in cycling through our social impact programme, to the race itself. There are so many ways individuals and clubs from the Scottish Cycling community can get involved – we’re also hoping to have a special guest from Le Tour GB to bring it all to life – more on that to follow.

Away from the Tour, we’ll delve into the development of the new Scottish Cycling strategy, which builds on Developing a Nation of Cyclists 2.0, which has served us well over the last three and a half years. We’ll have an honest reflection on the successes and where we want to see more progress, as well as outlining our thinking around the direction for the next decade.

There will also be a number of CPD sessions, a notable one perhaps looking at British Cycling’s ‘Project Competition’ and how that will affect the sport, before we finish with a Q&A with a couple of our star athletes.

The Scottish Cycling Conference is for everyone in the cycling community in Scotland, so whether you’re a rider, volunteer, coach, official, event organiser, or just a cycling enthusiast, we’d love to see you there. Come and have your say on the future direction of the sport, and share ideas with like-minded people.

Our gathering will also be an opportunity to network and catch up with fellow members of the cycling community from all corners of Scotland.

Awards

The 2026 edition will be no different, with our 10 Awards presented to the worthiest of winners, as nominated by you, the Scottish Cycling community. The evening will also recognise each and every Scottish Champion from the past 12 months via our Champions Drinks Reception, whilst guests will also enjoy a three-course dinner, a charity raffle with some top cycling prizes up for grabs, before we round out the evening with our now traditional, and extremely popular, ceilidh!

Tickets for the 2026 Scottish Cycling Awards are priced at £58 or £522 for a table of 10 and include a welcome drink, three-course meal and access to our now infamous ceilidh at the end of the night!
