Scottish National Series & Championships

Thanks to the wonderful community of volunteer event organisers, the 2026 calendar includes a host of exciting Scottish National events to look forward to, across all disciplines.

2026 Scotia Series

The Scotia Series is revamped for 2026, with a focus on providing fun competition for all female road racers in Scotland, including those new to racing. Series rankings will include a breakdown by age category (Junior, Senior, Master 40 and Master 50) as well as overall and a combined club/team ranking, giving something for all riders to compete for. Events include a variety of courses, distances and formats, in some stunning areas of Scotland. Look out for further details announced early in the New Year.

2026 Alba Series

The Alba Series provides National B level road racing across Scotland, with competitive racing on some of the most beautiful courses in the UK, including amongst others the iconic Dukes Pass and Rosneath Peninsula.

28th March: Gifford Road Race, organised by Edinburgh Road Club

3rd May: Hugh Dornan Memorial Road Race (Garelochhead), organised by Lomond Roads CC

6th June: Ythan Road Race (TBC), organised by Ythan CC

13th & 14th June: Mennock Pass Stage Race (Douglas & Leadhills), organised by Torvelo Race Team

25th July: Sam Robinson Road Race (Killearn), organised by Glasgow Nightingales

Off-road Scottish Series

  • 30th & 31st May: Scottish National Youth & Junior Track Championships – TBC
  • 22nd August: Scottish National Road Race Championships – The Drummond Trophy (Strathaven), organised by JG Cycling Club
  • 22nd & 23rd August: Scottish National MTB Downhill Championships – Glencoe, organised by SDA
  • 13th September: Scottish National Cycle Speedway Championships – TBC
  • 19th September: Scottish National Gravel Championships – Whitelee Windfarm
