2027 Scottish Cycling Calendar Compilation Expression of Interest Form

The year feels like its flying by, and we would like to take this opportunity to build on the success of this year’s events by getting the 2027 Calendar Compilation process started. Beginning this process early will help us develop a well-balanced calendar with a variety of opportunities for riders throughout the season, at the right time of year to give your events the best chance of success. 

Some of you may be aware that British Cycling will soon be implementing a new competition framework (see here) across all disciplines. We are working with BC on the implementation of the new structure in Scotland and how we transition the current calendar across when the time comes. Knowing club and organisers intentions for running events in advance of the switch will help with the process. 

 

Please fill out the expression of interest form by 14th September. 

 We will then collate these into a draft calendar as per the timeline below. 

We kindly ask that the lead organiser of each event submits the expression of interest form, and not another club member on their behalf. This will help us contact the correct person directly and avoids situations where someone submits a placeholder that they may be unable to deliver.
