Have your say on the Scottish Cycling Technical Regulations

The Scottish Cycling Technical Regulations are in place to maintain the integrity of the Scottish National Championships and Records, ensuring competition remains safe and fair. These regulations work within the framework of the British Cycling and UCI technical regulations, which govern the wider sport in Great Britain.

The SC Technical Regulations are reviewed annually to keep them up to date and ensure they reflect the needs of the wider cycling community, whether that’s riders, officials implementing the rules or organisers running the events.

As part of this review for 2026, we want to hear from you! Suggestions can be submitted via the following form, after which practicable proposals will be developed further before submission to the Scottish Cycling Board.

The deadline for submitting suggestions to be considered for 2026 is Thursday 9th October.
