Having kitted out the Scottish cyclists at the last three Commonwealth Games, Impsport will once again be the manufacturer of choice for a home Games in Glasgow this summer, as they did back in 2014.
The two organisations have signed a new four-year partnership that will take the association beyond 15 years. After a competitive tender process, which included testing a number of rival manufacturers, Impsport was chosen as the preferred supplier for the next Commonwealth Games cycle.
As well as at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, riders on the Scottish Cycling Performance Pathway, and those representing Scotland in select other events, will also wear Impsport, albeit a slight variation on the Team Scotland kit the likes of Katie Archibald and Neil Fachie will don this summer.
Speaking of the new agreement, Scottish Cycling’s Head of Performance and Coaching, David Somerville, said:
“After an extensive process, that included performance testing, rider feedback and wider partnership discussions, I’m delighted we’ll be working with Impsport for another four years.
“In Birmingham four years ago we believe our kit supported our team’s competitiveness. Central to this was our working relationship with Pete and his team, and we have not doubt we will continue to be extremely well equipped over the next few years, with their support.”
On the continued partnership with Scottish Cycling, Peter Merrick, Impsport Managing Director, said:
“We are delighted to extend our enduring partnership with Scottish Cycling and their legacy of champions. Our collaboration remains focused on one goal: performance. By integrating aero-engineering into every garment, we ensure our technical apparel works in total harmony with the relentless drive of Scotland’s elite athletes.”
The extension will also see increased collaboration at Scottish Cycling events, with Impsport continuing to support the Youth Tour of Scotland – supplying, designing and producing all the classification jerseys in addition to sponsoring the leaders’ jersey for the 2026 edition of the UK’s premier youth bike race.
In addition, Scottish Cycling’s National Champions jerseys will continue to be supplied by Impsport – ensuring that the best Scottish athletes across multiple disciplines will benefit from the partnership.
