Sam Chisholm (Edinburgh Bike Fitting RT) and Lulu Bartlett (Team Boompods) will wear the Scottish national champions jersey after claiming victory in two contrasting styles at the Scottish National Road Race Championships in Garelochhead.

British BMX Rounds 3 & 4
The latest two rounds of the British BMX Series were held in Scotland, as Cumbernauld Centurions hosted an excellent weekend of racing in Broadwood. There was plenty to celebrate from the Scottish clubs across a fantastic weekend of racing.
Ruby Warren (Western Titans) and Eilidh Watson (Cumbernauld Centurions) would claim a double delight of winning the Female 13 and 15 events in both rounds.

Scots Abroad
Oscar Onley (Picnic-PostNL) claimed two top tens as part of a strong ride at the Tour de Romandie in Switzerland, a sixth place in the hilly parcours on Stage one was bolstered by a ninth place on the uphill finale two days later.
At the Flèche Ardennaise (1.2) race in Belgium, a number of Scots were in action over the 17 climbs of the Ardennes.. It was another strong rider from Elliot Rowe (Team Visma | Lease A Bike Development) who would come home in tenth spot – it came hot off the heels of another top ten at Eschborn-Frankfurt U23 on Thursday. The young Scot looks to go from strength to strength since joining the Dutch outfit. Alpecin-Deceuninck Development Team’s Cameron Mason would come home in the bunch.
Not far over the border in Luxembourg, Handsling-Alba were in action at the two one-day races comprising GP Festival Elsy Jacobs – there would be another excellent ride on Saturday from Lauren Dickson to come home 11th and finish second in the climbers classification.
Youths
The latest round of the British National Youth Circuit Series went ahead with the Isle of Man Steam Packet Holidays Youth Tour over the weekend. There was some strong Scottish performances.
Izzy Barbour (Edinburgh RC) was fifth on the final stage in the Youth A race, while in the Youth B’s there was a strong weekend for Josh Stewart (SteppingStanes) to finish second in the overall classification. While consistency was key for Eilidh Scally (Johnstone Wheelers Cycling Club) with three seventh places to finish, unsurprisingly, in seventh in the general classification.
