Have your say on the Scottish Cycling Technical Regulations

Do you find yourself wondering why regulations are the way they are? Think you can see a way to make them better?

We want to hear from you! We will shortly be undertaking a review of the regulation for implementation in 2027, and you can be a part of that process. If you would like to be more involved in shaping cycle sport in Scotland, you might like to consider becoming part of the Commissaire, Sport or Technical Commission. Get in touch if you are interested in a further discussion about what this entails [email protected]

The Scottish Cycling Technical Regulations are in place to maintain the integrity of the Scottish National Championships and Records, ensuring competition remains safe and fair. These regulations work within the framework of the British Cycling and UCI technical regulations, which govern the wider sport in the UK.

As part of this review for 2027, we are inviting you to submit your suggestions via the following form, after which practicable proposals will be developed further before submission to the Scottish Cycling Board.

Please note, British Cycling technical regulations cannot be changed via this process. For more information on how to make suggestions about the wider regulations governing the sport, please see here
