Mini-DH set for Fort William World Cup Final

After an excellent Race The Worlds Final in 2023, Mini-DH will return to the slopes of Aonach Mor for a final at the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup in Fort William this May.

Following a very successful Race The Worlds Series culminating at the UCI Cycling World Championships in 2023, Scottish Cycling is proud to present the 2024 Mini-Downhill Final at the WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series Fort William on Saturday 4th  May.

This is a unique opportunity for young riders to experience racing at a World Cup event, alongside their idols competing in the Elite races on the same day.

Entry Process

Entry applications are open on the British Cycling entry system as of Tuesday February 27th. All riders are encouraged to submit an entry application for their chance to ride in the final.

Similar to 2023, there will be 2 qualifying regional events where riders can gain priority entry to the final. These events will take place at Nevis Range and Glentress. The top five placed riders in each category will have their entry to the Uncontested spaces will be allocated at the organiser’s discretion based on race times and field sizes. If spaces are still uncontested, then entries will be accepted on a first come first served basis, so riders are encouraged to enter early.
